All participants must complete and sign the waiver in order to participate in the event. I accept all possible consequences resulting from my participation in this event that may cause me to become so hooked on running that I might possibly even want to get FIT. I am also aware that running can be a hazardous activity, especially when I come in contact with non-runners. I will not participate in this event unless I’m properly conditioned and medically able. I know that there will be traffic on the course and accept all risks associated with running in traffic. I am also aware of the risk of weather conditions at this time of year and agree to be solely responsible for my own safety while participating in this event. Knowing these facts and in consideration of the race director accepting my entry, I hereby for myself and my heirs, agree not to sue, and waive, release and discharge Tony Estes, Sunflower Striders Running Club, Popeye’s, RRCA and all other persons or groups associated with this event, or anyone on their behalf from any claims for liability or death, personal injury, or property damage of any kind whatsoever arising from my participation in the event. This release and waiver extends to all claims of any nature; foreseen or unforeseen, known or unknown. I grant full permission to the race director to use any photographs of me participating in this event for legitimate purposes. Minors must sign the waiver in addition to the signature of their parent or legal guardian. The adult that signs the waiver agrees to all of the above stipulations on behalf of said minor. Lastly, because Tony Estes is such a great guy for organizing this phenomenal event at no cost to me, I agree to split all profits with him 50/50 should I ever be fortunate enough to win more than $100,000,000,000. in any lottery. I realize that by submitting this registration, I have also submitted my only copy of the course map and accept full responsibility if I get lost.
