The off-season Strength and Conditioning Program for mid and senior high school students is designed to allow each athlete to develop a training base geared toward his or her own specific level of ability and sport of interest. By avoiding the "one plan fits all" approach, each individual can methodically advance to become the very best he or she can be. Daily sessions provide 45 minutes to one hour of a variety of strength training methods, incorporating use of body weight resistance, free weights, stability balls, medicine balls, tubing, bands, and machines. Foot ladders and acceleration ladders may also be incorporated for use by those athletes intending to improve speed and agility.
Sessions are held inside St Francis Sports Medicine, 801 SW Fairlawn Rd, utilizing small groups of 6 to 8 athletes. Individual instruction is also available for those interested in one-on-one training. Athletes are instructed in the nuances of safe and effective strength training in order to better understand how and why they need to perform specific exercises in a precise manner. Pertinent nutritional information and post-exercise stretching instruction is also provided for athletes. The primary goal of the program is to empower all athletes to establish a solid foundation prior to the start of their own respective school training seasons. This higher base will better enable each athlete to take their season to the "next level" by peaking in the late-season when their success is most needed and appreciated.

“Although exercise is essential, it’s often overlooked, and I’m guilty of such due to my busy lifestyle. Tony designed a plan that works for me. It’s been great working with him and I’m seeing results. He always encourages me to take it to the next level, especially when I’m not sure that I can. His motivation is awesome!” Melissa, Age 21
